Erik Bauer is the founder of the Rock’n’Roll label Middle Class Pig Records, a concert promoter, former English teacher and currently a bartender living in Tübingen, Germany.
He relocated there in 1994 from Kansas City, Missouri after completing his bachelor studies in Germanic Languages and Literature at the University of Kansas (Lawrence, KS) and receiving a Fulbright Travel Grant and a Graduate Direct Exchange Scholarship. Since his arrival in Tübingen, Erik has put most of his energy in promoting music, literature and art. He speaks English and German fluently and has been learning Hebrew since 2012. In his spare time, he also likes to travel and write.
